Sport Fishing

The Francisco Zarco, Lázaro Cárdenas and Benjamín Ortega dams are located in the Laguna area, in the State of Durango. There you can practice several water sports, fishing included.
Destination Laguna made a group of people who like this hobby, with the purpose of converting it into sport fishing and with it, to attract fishers from other parts of Mexico and other countries, who like to participate in tournaments and other events, and to visit new places where they can enjoy fishing. For this, it’s mandatory to get the Mexican Official Regulation to put in order both commercial and sport fishing in Durango State.

So the sport fishing committee was integrated, and they elaborated a project to seek the support of the government authorities of Durango, Indé, Nazas and Lerdo cities, the State of Durango and the Federal government.
