For the benefit of all the residents in La Laguna, we can inform that the Tourism Consultative Council of Coahuila has started their activities, with Destination Laguna as a  member of this council.

La Laguna Region  has been promoted thru the Montreal Tourism Board and our Canadian representative, in 421 golf tournaments  in Ontario, where over 60,000 people have attended.

Destination Laguna  will host the final tournament of the QPGA, which will take place  within the next few months in the beautiful scenery provided by the regional Golf Courses.  This represents the opportunity  to receive visitors from Canada, who will surely enjoy warmth weather and our traditional hospitality.

El Torneo Laguna Open finalizó dejando una derrama económica para la Región de 9.21 millones de pesos, cifra ligeramente superior a la del 2005, con un total de visitantes de 137 procedentes de diversas ciudades del país y del extranjero.

Laguna Bass Association organized a Sport Fishing Serial Tournament. The first event took place last February with an attendance of 85 people and the second was in April with 87 people. In this event, we had the presence of Lic. Rosario Castro Lozano, Mayor of Lerdo City.

Destination Laguna signed  an agreement with Coahuila and Durango States and the Cities of Gómez Palacio and Lerdo, which will allow a more active participation of these Governments in Destination Laguna’s activities and projects.
