What is the job title of the person in a magazine who does the pictures?

Hey Gang,

I'm getting into photoshop, and it seems it would be a fun career to work in a magazine, can't find the answer with google however.

Edit pictures
Create digital pictures /computer graphic art
Page

You would use Photoshop for the Images, and Adobe Illustrator for the page design and text. Most of these jobs however require a college degree in graphic design. You have to know the rules of design to make pages that look appealing to most people.
