which processor do you think is better, intel pentium dual core. or Intel centrino Core 2 Duo. ?

is there a big difference? the price difference between the two laptops i'm looking at is only $100. one is toshiba and one is sony, toshiba is 3gb and the sony is 2gb. thank you for any help!

Probably wont see a lot of difference. Both are dual core. Althou a Core 2 Duo is faster and more efficient I doubt you are gonna make up for the 50% difference in size with the 2GHz Core 2 Duo cpu. I'd go by the actual features of each laptop to make
